A m i, Child of The Stars

My favorite book of all time, for the first time I read when I was eight and from there I read about five times so far, this book is Enrique Barrios "Ami, Child of the Stars"

This book tells the story of a boy named Peter, the rock on a beach encounters an alien being, named Ami, who was the abbreviation of a friend. After his meeting totally magical, Ami begins to tell where it comes from, which makes the earth and is credited as the universe in general. Pedro is very impressed with all these stories, then Ami invites you to see in your spaceship around the universe that is out there, along with that other extraterrestrial beings, other cultures and gives a very important mission to save the planet Earth.

This story struck me as a child because I think there is a life beyond our planet, but also because the way they are told of these alien landscapes so beautiful they made me imagine. And finally I think the mission was to save the planet Peter was very significant, and made me believe that anything could be done if there was love, as Universal Law.

I have read many books and some very significant as "Veronica Decide Morir" by Paulo Coelho, "El Principito" and others but never thought a young girl falling in love with this book I have read many times
I recommend this book to children who are starting to read because this way others will want to read all the books that follow after "Ami, Child of the Stars" and thus encourages their imagination and the importance of love.
